For the fifth year running, the Notre Dame Center for Arts & Culture (NDCAC) is hosting a celebration for Día de los Muertos. This University of Notre Dame tradition is accompanied by an exhibition of altars created by community members which are on view now through the end of the celebration.
Both are free and open to the public, stop by and submit your vote for community favorite. On Thursday, November 2, 2017, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm we will be having a celebration at the NDCAC and across the street at the Indiana University Civil Rights Heritage Center complete with performances by Ballet Folklorico groups & Mariachi ND. Other activities including face painting, paper flower making. Traditional pan de muerto will be served. There is a free, round-trip shuttle leaving from McKenna Hall beginning at 5:15 pm.
