Join Dr. Alfred Tatum, University of Illinois at Chicago Interim Dean and Professor, as he discusses the abundance of African American males in special education programs and how focusing on reading and writing can advance their literacy development.

This program is open to the public.  A reception, hosted by the IU South Bend  School of Education, will follow the lecture at 7:30PM in the Education & Arts lobby
