Participants will spend the two-week period of each camp researching and creating a piece of either artworkcreative writing, or photojournalism that highlights either the history, present, or future of South Bend. These final products will be published in a newspaper.

Participant research will be supplemented with skills-based learning, workshops, and team-building activities. The beginning of the camps will focus on researching the history of South Bend. As part of our SB150 theme, participants will take field trips and participate in a service learning project.

This will all be intermingled with skills-based workshops in which students enhance their writing and artistic skills.

Time: 9am - 12pm, Monday through Friday (except Friday, July 3)

Cost: $50 per student per session
